Water-Washable Model Resin
405nm/385nm 3D Printer Resin for High-Detail Models, Dental Study Models & Thermoforming Masters, Gray, 1KG

  • Water OR IPA Washable — Engineered to clean up with either method, making post-processing easier and safer without requiring solvent on hand
  • High-Accuracy Detail — Smooth, efficient printing with outstanding detail, well-suited for dental study models, diagnostic models, and general high-detail prints
  • Dual-Wavelength Compatible — Formulated for both 385nm and 405nm printers, supporting rapid production across a wide range of machines
  • Built to Flex, Not Crack — 6.5% elongation and 19 J/m Izod impact strength make it well-suited for thermoforming applications, such as printed masters used to thermoform dental trays and retainers
  • Made in the USA — Formulated and bottled in the United States

Compatibility
405nm and 385nm LCD/DLP compatible. Validated print settings available on request (tested at 50µm layer height, 2.75s exposure per layer on a 9K-class 405nm LCD printer).

Product Description
Applied Molecules Water-Washable Model Resin is engineered for flexibility — both in how you clean it and what you use it for. Formulated to wash with either water or IPA, it simplifies post-processing without locking you into a solvent-dependent workflow. Formulated for both 385nm and 405nm printers, it prints with outstanding detail suited to dental study models, diagnostic models, and general high-precision applications. With a higher elongation and impact strength than typical rigid model resins, it holds up well as a printed master for thermoforming applications, such as forming dental trays and retainers over a printed model. This resin is designed for model-making and manufacturing applications — it is not intended or tested for direct intraoral or patient-contact use. Suitable for both prototyping and final production runs.

Print & Cure Procedure
Tested horizontal to the build plate on a 405nm LCD printer (9K-class) at 50µm layer heights, 2.75s exposure per layer. Samples were washed alternately in Applied Molecules Solution 27 (a water-based wash solution) at 75°C with an air spray until fully clean, then post-cured for 10 minutes at 365nm and 50°C.
