16K Model Resin
Clear High-Detail 405nm 3D Printer Resin for Engineering Prototypes & Models, 1KG

  • Engineering-Grade Clarity — Clear, colorless resin that can be polished to near-optical clarity; ideal for visual prototypes, lenses, fluid-flow parts, and display models
  • Exceptional Fine Detail — Formulated for high-resolution printing capable of internal channels under 150 microns, making it well-suited for microfluidic devices and intricate internal geometry
  • Real Mechanical Strength — 88D Shore Hardness, 738 MPa Elastic Modulus, and 163°C Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT @ 0.45 MPa)
  • 405nm LCD/DLP Compatible — Works with standard 405nm resin printers, including high-resolution displays
  • Made in the USA — Formulated and bottled in the United States

Compatibility
405nm LCD/DLP compatible, including high-resolution 16K displays. Validated print settings available on request (tested at 50µm layer height, 3.4s exposure per layer on a 9K-class 405nm LCD printer).

Product Description
Applied Molecules 16K Model Resin is a clear, engineering-grade 405nm photopolymer built for makers who need more than just fine detail — it's formulated for real mechanical performance. With a 163°C heat deflection temperature and 738 MPa elastic modulus, this resin holds up where standard clear resins soften or flex. Prints emerge clear and colorless, and can be polished to near-optical clarity for lenses, fluid-flow parts, and display-quality models. Sub-150-micron internal channel capability makes it a strong choice for microfluidic devices and complex internal geometry, while near-zero swelling across common solvents (acetone, IPA, water, acids, and bases) means finished parts hold their dimensions in real-world use. Suitable for both prototyping and final production runs.
